Hi! My name is Lauren Johnson, I am 18 years old and the founder and CEO of Botanical Heaven Spa! Botanical Heaven was created to provide consumers with completely natural and holistic alternatives to the everyday drugstore products filled with chemicals and harmful preservatives. I chose the name Botanical Heaven because of course, I use botanical ingredients to make products that will give you heavenly glowing skin. Botanical Heaven was made to be the one-stop-shop for all botanical products. It has always been embedded in me by my mother and through watching her habits to always find the healthiest and most natural solutions for the body. I initially started off by making my own natural hair products at 10 years old;  shortly after I decided to cut all of my hair off from having locs for about 3 years. Since then, I have been actively experimenting with a multitude of different natural remedies. As I entered my teenage years and puberty hit, I began to struggle with hormonal acne that made me very insecure. After trying every single product in the drugstore, doing every youtube tutorial that guaranteed clear skin and even being prescribed medication by a dermatologist, and still not seeing the results that I so desperately wanted; my focus shifted from hair care to making my own natural skincare as well. As my passion for skincare grew stronger, I decided to pursue my esthetician license. After continuously being told by several friends and family members that I also made these products for from time to time, as well as having an ample amount of time in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic, I finally decided to bring Botanical Heaven to a broader audience who can benefit from my products as well. I hope to bring the happiness and benefits that my products have brought me to everyone who uses them. With that being said, welcome to Botanical Heaven! I had the opportunity to work with Lauren and her business recently and it was so cool being able to try these products. I already know how much time and dedication it takes to come up with recipes and testing different methods to get exactly what you want. Lauren is so professional and I'm so grateful I got to collaborate with such a talented person.

The mask is made from bentonite clay which has a negative charge which attaches itself to positive charges in toxins. The Tumeric in the mask has anti-inflammatory properties to help soothe and heal irritations of the skin such as acne.

When I first put on this mask I could really feel it working. I got this cooling sensation on my skin which I love.

Lauren recommends that you use this mask at least once a week and if you already have a set skin routine, it’s easy to incorporate this mask.

I used the mask before I used my other products.When I started with the mask first it was like my skin was ready to act right. I let the mask sit a little while and let it get a tab bit hard, then I wiped it off with a soft face towel.

Now normally before using any type of face oil, I would use my cleansing scrub and a water-based cleanser. After that's done I would use some oil and moisturizer to seal it in. This time I used the Elixir.

This Elixir is a unique blend of oils such as Black seed, Manuka, and Rosehip, etc., and with the elixir being high in Linoleic acid and vitamins such as A, B, C, and E it is the perfect facial oil for those with acne-prone skin.

It is to be used twice daily after cleansing on slightly moist skin, as that is when it is able to seal in moisture the best!

After I use a face oil and moisturizer, my facial routine is basically done. I do the same thing in the morning and at night. I'm looking to find some night time facial products so if you have any suggestions send them my way.
